You must be comfortable reaching out to prospects via phone and email and generating opportunities with savvy discussion forum owners. You understand that a high activity level will lead to success and you understand how to split your time between prospecting and following up on existing opportunities. You are web savvy and extremely customer service oriented. You must also be very comfortable using tools such as Salesforce.com to manage the sales process, to generate quotes from the system, to track activities, and to successfully transfer project information to operations. Above all, you need to be a curious and passionate Internet user who is always up on the latest trends.

Duties:
- Proactively pursue outbound sales activities with pre-defined lists of leads
- Augment lead records with relevant self-generated research
- Utilize high-velocity SFA system (salesforce.com)
- Maintain awareness of market conditions and competitor products
- Create presentations, proposals, SOW, quotes, contracts and invoices quickly and efficiently
- Book and conduct meetings primarily using online meeting technology
Requirements:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Background in community-oriented software (e.g. social networking, forums) highly desired
- Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a high degree of autonomy
- Preferably based in Montreal but working mostly from your home office
Position: Web Designer
Type: Full-time contract
$35,000 - $65,000/yr
You are an HTML & CSS guru with a flair for design. You must be comfortable with the newest techniques in web-page coding & structuring, and be comfortable working with design tools like photoshop & illustrator.
Duties:
- Create custom themes for Vanilla implementations
- Design marketing & promotion pages
- Quickly turn customer vision into a reality
- Create pages that gracefully degrade for outdated browsers
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Background in Internet media & design
- Background in community-oriented software (e.g. social networking, forums) highly desired
- Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Deeply familiar with both class & modern HTML & CSS design
- Great design aesthetic & comfortable with graphic design tools like photoshop & illustrator
Position: PHP Developer
Type: Full-time contract
$45,000 - $65,000/yr
You are a PHP master, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming. You are passionate about delivering the minimum viable product and do not get bogged down with "theoreticals" that can kill a deadline.
Duties:
- Create custom plugins for the Vanilla platform
- Fix bugs and implement improvements for the Vanilla framework
- Speed optimizations, memcached experience a big plus
- Scale scale scale - make highly dynamic pages run extremely quickly under enormous load
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player, working closely with other devs to deliver flawless code QUICKLY
- Background in community-oriented software (e.g. social networking, forums) highly desired
- Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
