Is there a way we can automatically create new discussions based on an RSS feed using our vanillaforums.com plan? Although there are plugins for this in OSS there does not appear to be a plugin in the commercial version.

embedding video problems...

1. when you use wysiwyg, video hyperlinked URLs do not automatically embed.

2, a workout is to remove the automatic hyperlink from the URL and leave it as Text only, and the video gets automatically embedded.

3. In the last couple of days, neither URL works with wysiwyg

Hi,

I am using Embed venilla plugin in our website. I am embedding remote.js in one of our pages. I created a js connection. My Authentication URL is invoked with below params

timestamp and signature are not passed here. Also even if i return

Our dashboard stats seem out of whack. I have two pages with 100 hits, one with 800, then the rest 8,6, 4, etc.
Discussions and comments don't match either we have lots and zero show up. Only one user ever shows up.

Also, we USED to have an "awesome" flag. I wanted to use it today and it disappeared.

Please advise thank you.

Community password

Hello,

We are going to be granting access to the community to those who buy the Tracy Anderson Method DVDs in stores this summer. I was wondering how we can set up a general password that we can include to give them access without having their email address in our system? We currently give the password "Community" to those who buy via QVC, but I believe we have their email addresses. Can we set up another password that will be accepted with any email address, then prompts them to set a password?

Problem with Category Drop-Down on New Discussion

Users aren't able to choose a category when adding a new discussion on our forum:

The default choice (which is whatever item I make first in line) is the only one that is able to be chosen.

Am I missing a setting?

Hi, Vanilla:

First, I just want to say that while I initially didn't care for the new layout, I'm really liking it now, especially the new plug-ins! Most importantly, our community members are enjoying them as well!

However, there is one issue that's truly annoying. The poster who begins a discussion shows with no Facebook ID next to their name. It may not seem like a big deal, but it is, especially after I have to go to their profile, get the ID, and then go back, only to realize the big, long answer I typed out didn't save. :( Is there any way that the discussion-starter's ID can just pop up like the subsequent posters?

It also looks like an old issue, with not all admins able to see posters' Facebook IDs, may be occurring as well.

Also, we're adding a few community members as moderators. I'd like to ask about the following:

1. Special badges for these folks, as well as a special admin badge so we all stand out.
2. Could you also guide me to the option to disable mods' abilities to see private messages between rank-and-file members and between the admins and members?

Finally, one more issue with the new layout--our discussions often involve a ton of pages, and the emoticon icon often covers either the arrow or the page numbers.

Inside Discussions - Scroll Down menu freezes page in IE9

IE9 related -- unaffected by Opera. Appears to be similar to popup issue.

When you choose Options with the Scroll Down Menu (Edit, Delete, Sink, Announce, etc.. ), you cannot edit or anything in IE9. The page also freezes.

For prioritization, this is a low priority bug. It is irritating but not critical.
